What is happening in Tampa for Halloween 2026?
Two things worth planning around. The Tampa Pirate Bus is running three nights, Thursday October 29 through Saturday October 31, between the USF area and South Tampa. And on Halloween night itself, Nightmare on Channelside takes over Benchmark International Arena downtown with 21 Savage headlining. Times, venues, and booking contacts are below.
What is the Tampa Pirate Bus schedule for Halloween week?
Three nights, three routes. These runs are hosted by the venues, so the venue is who you contact to ride.

Where do you park for Benchmark International Arena?
There is no arena lot you simply pull into on a sold out Saturday. The closest options are the Pam Iorio Garage and the Teal Lot, both about a three minute walk. Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 are roughly four minutes. Coming from Pinellas, the Tampa Convention Center Garage, Fort Brooke Garage, and Whiting Garage sit six to seven minutes out, and Fort Brooke connects by free TECO Streetcar. From the north or east, the Channelside Garage and Florida Aquarium Lot also connect by streetcar.
Most lots are first come, first served, and the arena points people to JustPark to reserve ahead. On Halloween, with doors at 6:00 PM, plan to be parked well before that or plan not to park at all.
How do you get to Channelside on Halloween night without driving?
This is the part people figure out too late. Halloween night downtown means surge pricing on rideshare both directions, a garage hunt before the show, and a crowd of several thousand people all trying to leave at the same time afterward. Splitting a Mercedes Sprinter across a group of ten usually costs less per person than two surge rides, and it solves the problem at both ends of the night.
Your chauffeur drops you at the door off Channelside Drive, parks somewhere else, and is back when you are ready. Nobody in costume walks four blocks from the Whiting Garage. Nobody in your group has to stay sober against their will. And the night does not have to end at the arena, since the same vehicle can run you to Ybor or South Tampa after.

Can you wear a costume into the arena?
Yes, costumes are permitted. Masks are allowed too, but they have to come off during security screening, when you buy alcohol, and any time a staff member asks. Prop weapons are the thing that gets people turned away at the door: axes, swords, chainsaws, and anything similar are not allowed inside. Leave them in the vehicle.

How far in advance should I book a party bus for Halloween in Tampa?
As early as you can. Halloween is the busiest single night of the fall for Tampa transportation, and the larger buses go first. If you are reading this in the week of October 26, call rather than email.
Can the driver wait during the concert?
Yes. Charters are booked by the hour, so your chauffeur stays on the clock and is back at the pickup point when the show lets out. That is the main reason groups book instead of rideshare, since leaving an arena at the same moment as everyone else is the hard part.
Can we get picked up from more than one address?
